  6. Integration - a single lesson supports topics across the curriculum
  7. Assessment - comprehension tested, feedback immediate, results stored for analysis (grading)
  8. Linearity - the core content is linear (all users see this core material)
  9. Open ended ending - users are not only offered further paths of discovery, but feel motivated to explore
